A driver normally must obtain a driver's license from its State of residence, and this permit is valid for all the rest of the United States. In the States, the driver`s license is issued by every State or territory. The Class H license expires on the same day the minor turns 16 years old. If the minor has 15 years of age and possess a license Class H,he or she will receive the same treatment as a Class PD (Learners Permit) license holder, who drives with a companient of 21 years old or more. In Tennessee, to obtain the Class D license, the one has more difficulty getting it, if the minor is 14 years old, he or she can drive a vehicle Class D, or a motorcycle class M (with a limit of 125 CC), or both he or she must pass an Eye exam, a knowledge test and a driving exam to be able to drive a class D vehicle take a knowledge exam and a drive test Class M apart for the knowledge exam class D to drive a vehicle Class M It is allowed to drive between 5am to 7pm, (with no exceptions), and between a 25 mile radio inside the vicinity of the minor’s residence, like established in the Security Department (DOS).
